Our latest innovation? Bismuth. We’re now casting bismuth pellets in our foundry alongside our tungsten pellets. Why? Because bismuth is 22% denser than steel and much less costly than tungsten. Step up to HEVI-Hammer!
HEVI-Hammer – New for this year, this product is 85% steel and 15% bismuth layered in the shell for optimal patterns and shot strings, plus longer range than any steel shotshells because of the higher bismuth density. The performance boost over steel shotshells is well worth the few extra bucks. Density: steel 7.86 g/cc, bismuth 9.6 g/cc
